Loyalist’s Entrepreneurial Studies – Business Launch post-graduate program is delivered as an elite, living lab with the aim of connecting big ideas, top talent and entrepreneurial action.
If you have a great idea for creating a new business and want to be your own boss or manage a start-up, you may be the ideal candidate for this new program! You will emerge with the knowledge and skill to launch and grow your own start-up in under a year.
About the Program:
Our experiential learning approach will help you perfect your business model. Participate in a month-long start-up boot camp focusing on best practices and how to turn high-impact start-up ideas into reality, and take part in a “start-up studio” lab in downtown Belleville where students share learning and build actual start-ups alongside one another.
Work in teams around high-growth ideas or existing early-stage start-ups, then be guided through the building process to develop a scalable, repeatable and profitable business model. Also, you’ll create and deliver executive-style presentations before an audience of prospective customers, employees and investors during industry showcase and pitch competitions.
Students will participate in monthly educational “pit stops” providing tailored, rigorous training on strategic entrepreneurship issues, and utilize the cutting-edge Strategyzer toolbox to develop your “business model canvas,” while learning to balance ethics and social responsibility in a dynamic global environment.
